Henry Dunay

Henry Dunay (1935–2023) was an acclaimed American goldsmith and designer who established his firm, Henry Dunay Designs, in 1956. He became internationally recognized for his unique sculptural aesthetic and the distinctive "Sabi" finish—a hand-etched gold technique inspired by Japanese philosophy. A multi-award-winning pioneer in designer branding, his high-art creations attracted elite clientele, including Elizabeth Taylor. The original company was sold in 2009 following financial difficulties.
