Gilbert Albert
Gilbert Albert was born in 1930 in Geneva. He began his training in jewelry and design at the age of 15 at l'École des Arts Industriels. His talent was recognized by Patek Philippe when he was only 25, and he worked there as a designer and head of the workshop for seven years. During this time, he developed signature asymmetrical watches for the house. Later, he collaborated with the innovative Omega watchmakers and opened his own atelier in 1962. Throughout his tenure at Patek Philippe and Omega, he received several Diamonds-International Awards.
