Gilbert Albert

Gilbert Albert was born in1930 in Geneva. He began training in jewellery and design at the age 15 at I'Ecole des Arts Industriels. His talent was spotted by Patek Philippe when he was only 25. He work there as designer and head of the workshop for seven years, during which time he developed signature asymmetrical watches for the house. He later worked with the innovative Omega watchmakers and opened his own atelier in 1962. During his time at Patek Philippe and Omega he won several Diamonds-International Awards.
