Antique Art Deco Spinach Jade Clock
Zolotniki, 1920s
Antique, turn of the century, Austrian/Russian hand carved spinach jade and vermeil silver footed desk clock. Beautifully enameled with a pink guilloche design featuring gemstone leaved applications comprised of cabochon sapphires, rubies, emeralds and diamonds. A royal crown resides above the gold washed roman numeral dial incised with a detailed landscape engraving. The jade base is of the highest quality and feature two hand carved seated canines set with brilliant round diamond eyes. Clock features original serial numbered movement. This one of a kind antique Art Deco clock was exceptionally made inside and out. Each footed base bears the Russian 88 zolotniki and silversmiths' "AK" initials hall-markings.
